excellent fit every time, 2010-07-18
these jeans fit the same every time I purchase them. they are the only jeans I like to buy!
They changed the cut, 2010-06-01
I've been buying these jeans in size 34x30 for more years than I can count. They are the only jeans that I wear. This last time that I bought them, they seem to be cut very differently... much fuller. Ha, you thought I was going to say the reverse. I don't really like the way they fit anymore, requiring a belt when I never needed one in the past.

Levi's 550's are the best pair of jean's ever! I've always had a problem with regular/slim fitting jeans because I have big thighs due to rigorous exercising for the last 36 years (since I was 10) When I wear regular jeans the waist would fit but the thighs area would be tight and cramped. When I discovered 550's I loved them so much for their relaxed fit that I decided to get them in light and medium stonewash, dust storm and black. I am still contemplating which color I will get next. Thank you Levi's 550's.
Sizing problems, 2010-04-26
I recently received my order for two pair of Levi's Men's 550 Relaxed Fit Jean, Dark Stonewash, 36x34 from Amazon. I tried one pair on and noticed that they were too tight. The second pair was even smaller. I took both pair to a local retailer that sells Levi's jeans and compared them to the size 36x34 the retailer carried. One pair of the jeans I ordered from Amazon was two inches smaller in the waist and the other pair was FOUR inches smaller in the waist. Since the jeans were Levi's, the retailer offered to swap out the jeans for the CORRECT size. He said he would take care of returning the wrong-sized jeans to the Levi's company. The jeans from Amazon were made in Egypt and the jeans at the local retailer were made in Mexico. I won't be ordering any more jeans from Amazon after this experience. Apparently, the Egyptian factory has some quality assurance and sizing issues.

Loved the Levis I got. The order was handled quickly, I paid no shipping or handling, and what's better is the pants are of high quality, comfortable and strong. They fit well which is really important, and I'm very pleased, all in all.
