Will never use anything else!, 2010-06-03
It is completely easy to use and came in handy for me! My computer crashed and I was able to plug this into my new computer and put everything from my old computer to my new computer in a matter of minutes. So simple.
Nothing but positve things to say, 2009-11-08
You know the old saying, it is not a matter of if your hard drive on your computer will fail..it is a matter of when. As I recently learned. But if you have been wise enough to have backed up your files on a nice external hard drive like the ClickFree, what could have been a major, major headache was a relatively minor problem.
If you are not the most computer savvy person in the world, like myself, you will like this product. It is as easy as they say. Plug it in and if you do nothing, the back up will automatically begin. But take the time, before you have some problem to deal with, to look around and check out the various options as to what files you are backing up and how to go about restoring them if need be in the future. When the inevitable happens...and it will...you will be happy to know that all your files are safely backed up and restoring them will be pretty darn easy. Yes, the first backup will take some time, but future ones, since it only needs to backup changed files, takes very little time.
I used my desktop's failure as an excuse to buy a nice new desktop, with Windows 7, and then set about 'restoring' the files from the old one to the new. Music files, thousands of photos, Quicken records, bookmarks, favorites...all my personal files easily transferred with only minor problems, which, as someone else mentioned, were easily solved by reading the instructions. Always a smart move.
I use the ClickFree to backup all three of my computers, desktop, laptop and netbook on the one unit, which is very nice, and am very glad that I do. It is an attractive unit (ok, I love red) very easy to use, a nice, user friendly interface. I don't really have a bad word to say about it.

It does what it says it will do. Simple to operate and quick backup and restore.

This is the easiest to install and use that I have seen. I would highly recommend this product.

Hooked it up, it installed itself, quickly backed up all necessary files I have on a 7 year old computer. Plan to use it on a second laptop computer once I purchase it.
Makes backing up extremely simple, using windows XP,SP2. Hopefully will work with Windows 7, can't see why it won't.
