A great replacement for my lost Zeno Mini, 2010-07-30
Pros: Disposable Zeno= no need to worry about finding replacement tips, The price is cheaper than other models, smaller than the Zeno Mini, seems to heat up faster than older model,
Cons: display somewhat difficult to understand unless you memorize the manual,
I lost my Zeno Mini about 8 months ago. I could not find replacement tips and was getting somewhat frustrated. I really like the Zeno and it works for my skin. I usually get breakouts about once every 3 weeks or a month. It helps when that one time you need it. I like this model in that you don't have to worry about finding tips to replace and its cheaper. I don't get that many breakouts but when I do, its good to have it.
I'd recommend cleaning the tip with soap and water, I don't like having to use a treatment and then use it again on the same spot later on if it's dirty.
Not a great buy, 2010-07-28
The first time I used it I recapped it afterwards and when I opened it to use it again it was cracked around the metal tip. I took it back for a second and the same thing happened but eventually a chunk around the tip fell off. I never got it wet, dropped it, etc. I cleaned it with an alcohol swab after uses. It made some improvement once or twice, but most of the time it wouldn't turn on. Now it simply won't turn on period and I hadn't used all of the treatments yet. Maybe it's because I bought it at WalMart, but it didn't impress me as much as I thought it would.
I love my Zeno, 2010-07-27
I never leave home without my Zeno. If I feel a blemish coming I zap it and it is gone. It has changed my life, no more popping zits or waiting for them to go away. I never use zit creams anymore.

My gripe with the Zeno isn't with its effectiveness on pimples. My gripe is that the unit I received was clearly defective and would shut off prematurely (after 20-30 seconds) for every 4 out of 5 uses. I think either the product isn't well made or the quality control standards aren't up to par. Either way I was very disappointed with its technological performance.
As far as pimples go I only used it on two and it worked reasonably well.
The first one I zapped as it was starting to form and the next morning there was nothing there. That was great.
I zapped the second pimple as it was starting to form also, but it still surfaced. However I would venture to guess that the pimple wasn't as big as it could have been had I not zapped it.
So overall I think the Zeno is a great idea that works but the product is manufactured poorly.

What can I say, this cool little device is exactly that.....cool. PLUS it works! Worth a try and its safe on the skin. If it doesn't work for you, you can get your money back. I really like it and highly recommend it . It clears pimples up fast!
